Celebrities

Celebrities
Have you ever thought about being a celebrity? To most people, the answer would be positive, because celebrities' life style seems to be not only fascinating but also very glamourous. However, on the other hand, there's a high price to be paid for being rich and famous which is the invasion of privacy.
Nowadays, tabloids and celebrity magazines have become considerably more popular in our society. There are an increasing number of presses available daily which bring us stories and scandals about famous people. It can be amazing for those who fancy this kind of reading, but may cause unnecessary trouble and embarrassment to others, specially the celebrities.
The other day, I read an article about a famous singer being sentenced to prison for driving under the effect of drugs. I wanted to read that article because I really admire him, but, somehow, it made me think about the reason why people have this kind of fixation on celebrities' lives. Is it curiosity, jealousy, or simply human nature? I have no answer for it but, in my opinion, it's wrong to make a profit from people's unhappiness.
Finally, we can conclude that there must be a limit to newspapers and magazines to obtain and publish about famous people's private lives. There's no glamour in  privacy being deprived. Private life is a fundamental right for every person, don’t you think?
