Planet Earth

Alexandra Palace
A few days ago, I read an article about climate change that made me feel really worried and sad. According to that article, in forty years time, a third of the animals and plants on our planet will have become extinct as the result of the pollution in the atmosphere caused by man.
If we think about all the natural disasters we've been facing these days, it’s noticeable that humankind has also been affected by global warming. Droughts, flooding, and heat waves are not as unusual as they used to be and it seems like we’re getting to our planet’s tipping point. In addition, a famous scientist said recently that there would be no choice for us but abandoning The Earth in a near future for that reason. Would you leave your house just because you have a mess in it? I don’t think so! In my opinion, it is time to consider what we can do to save our planet and make a difference.
Some people say that mothers are the best at giving advice. If we could hear Mother Nature’s voice, what piece of advice do you think she would give us? I have some guesses:
Do more recycling, ride a bike to your job, use public transport more often, use your legs and your voice…ask your politicians for more environmental protection laws in your country, preserve the environment and love your planet because it’s your home.
Every little effort counts to preserve the environment. It’s up to us to make our planet a better place for everyone, including all the living beings. What about starting with spreading this idea? Have a nice day :-)!
